Grant Proposal Reviewer

Experience Level: Entry Level
Minimum Requirement: 6 months of basic office experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Grant Proposal Reviewer to support the review and evaluation of grant applications. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic office experience who is comfortable reading detailed information, following scoring guidelines, and documenting findings accurately.

Reviewers will evaluate grant proposals that support healthcare access and capacity-building efforts in rural and rural Tribal communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and review grant proposals for completeness and alignment with program requirements
• Score grant applications using established evaluation criteria
• Review supporting documentation and application materials
• Document scores, comments, and recommendations accurately
• Maintain organized records and meet established review deadlines
• Evaluate applications across multiple funding areas, including:
  • Telehealth Digital Transformation
  • Medical Diagnostic Equipment & EHR Upgrades
  • Rural Health Innovative Care
  • Technical Assistance
  • Shared Services Consortiums
  • Mobile Digital Services
• Handle application information professionally and confidentially
• Perform basic administrative and office support duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 6 months of basic office or administrative experience
• Basic computer and data-entry skills
• Strong reading comprehension
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written instructions and scoring guidelines
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable reviewing large amounts of written information

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred, but not required:

• Behavioral Health
• Tribal Health Systems
• Health Services
• Program Implementation
• Healthcare Administration
• Grant or proposal review
