About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Specific dates, primarily October and November
- Hours: 7am to 5:30pm
- Setting: Outpatient clinic-based roles
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and assist with patient flow
- Take vitals and collect patient history
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Perform clinical tasks including venipuncture, specimen collection, EKGs, and CLIA-waived testing
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of related work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Ability to perform clinical and administrative duties
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Strong patient communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Medical Assistant (MA) certification
- Experience with MEDENT or other EMR systems
- Familiarity with multitasking in a Clinical setting
