Professional Search Group (PSG) is seeking an experienced Senior Applications Developer to join their collaborative Applications Engineering team. This is a hands-on role responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting business-critical applications, integrations and reporting platforms, while contributing to a major ERP transformation and ongoing technology improvements.

You'll work across the full application lifecycle, partnering with business stakeholders to design, develop and support enterprise applications. This role combines software development, systems integration, technical troubleshooting and Level 1–3 application support within a small, high-performing team.

This role includes participation in a rostered support model, with occasional after-hours support for critical business activities.

Location: Perth, WA

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance business applications, integrations and reporting solutions.
  • Design and support APIs, web services and system integrations.
  • Support ERP and other core business systems, including future migration projects.
  • Provide Level 1–3 application support and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through automation, CI/CD and modern development practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver reliable, secure and scalable solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote development best practices.

You'll bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in software development or application support, including senior-level experience.
  • Strong SQL/T-SQL skills.
  • Experience with APIs, web services and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, testing and deployment practices.
  • Experience with Git and reporting tools such as Power BI or SSRS.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
