This is a highly visible, hands-on role. Approximately 70% of your focus will be on guests, people, service and floor leadership, with the remaining 30% covering the commercial and technical side of the business.

• P&L performance and overall commercial results
• Rostering, labour forecasting and wage control
• Budgets, sales, productivity and cost management
• Recruitment, onboarding, training and team development
• Building a positive, accountable and high-performing culture
• Stock control, wastage and operational efficiencies
• Maintaining exceptional standards across food, beverage and coffee
• Daily operations, compliance and venue presentation
• Identifying opportunities to improve performance and grow the business
• Preparing the team and operation for the upcoming expansion

You could currently be:

• A polished Restaurant Manager with strong commercial capability
• A proven Venue Manager from a premium, high-volume operation
• An exceptional Assistant General Manager ready to step up
• An experienced General Manager who still loves guests, service and leading from the floor

Your background could be a premium neighbourhood restaurant, a leading all-day dining venue, a high-volume restaurant group or a polished hospitality operation where quality and pace are equally important.

What matters is that you understand exceptional hospitality, know how to drive commercial performance and genuinely enjoy being present with your team and guests.
You’ll be the kind of manager who notices a guest waiting, a section under pressure, service beginning to slow and a labour issue developing- all at the same time.
You won’t hide behind a laptop while the floor struggles, but you also won’t avoid the numbers.
You can move confidently between leading a busy service, coaching a team member, reviewing labour, managing costs and planning for future growth.

• Proven leadership experience within a premium, high-volume hospitality venue
• Strong P&L, rostering, labour and cost-control capability
• Genuine warmth, confidence and presence on the floor
• High service standards without stiffness or ego
• The ability to lead from the front and hold people accountable
• Commercial intelligence and strong decision-making skills
• Excellent attention to detail and operational awareness
• A natural ability to build relationships with guests and teams

• An understanding of coffee quality and workflow within an all-day operation
