Press Operator

A local Erie manufacturing company is looking for a Press Operator to package finished molded products while inspecting parts for quality. This position involves working with molded parts, packaging finished product, performing basic quality checks, and keeping the work area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor molded parts and inspect for quality, sorting parts when necessary

  • Perform basic quality checks and functional gauging according to work instructions

  • Assemble product cartons and package finished parts

  • Fill, seal, and label cartons according to instructions

  • Place completed cartons onto pallets, label pallets, and move finished pallets to staging

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Work overtime as needed based on production needs

Qualifications and Skills

  • Basic math and computer skills

  • Basic knowledge of equipment and hand tools

  • Ability to read and write in English

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality

  • Able to work with limited supervision

  • Team player with a good work ethic

  • Ability to work in a production environment

Benefits/Compensation

  • 3rd shift 10p-6:30a

  • $15/hr  

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
