Position: Grid Connection Manager

Design & Build Recruitment has partnered with a reputable renewable energy developer to add a Grid Connection Manager to their growing technical engineering team.

Key Responsibilities for the Grid Connection Manager:
  • Manage grid connection activities across the full project lifecycle
  • Deliver and review power system modelling and grid connection studies for renewable energy projects
  • Develop and maintain scripting and automation tools to support modelling and analysis activities
  • Liaise with consultants, NSPs, AEMO and internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
  • Conduct technical assessments
Requirements for the Grid Connection Manager:
  • 7+ years of experience within the power systems or renewable energy sector
  • Strong experience in power system studies and modelling 
  • Experience with PSS®E, PSCAD and Python scripting
  • Understanding of grid connection processes and AEMO requirements
  • Relevant Engineering degree
