Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Waste Services Administrator.
Contract: 6 months | Immediate Start
Hourly Pay Rate: $45+ p/h + Super
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality customer service for domestic and commercial waste management services via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Maintain and update service records, customer accounts, and debtor information to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Investigate and resolve service-related enquiries and issues, liaising directly with customers and service contractors to achieve timely outcomes.
• Coordinate communication between customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding waste management services.
• Monitor office supply levels and arrange replenishment of materials as required.
• Contribute to the review and improvement of waste management services, policies, and operational procedures.
• Assist in the development and distribution of customer education and awareness materials.
• Support administrative functions to ensure the efficient delivery of waste management services.

- 2+ years experience in an administration support role and customer service within local government or working in a politically sensitive environment
- Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
