Position Overview:
Aequor Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care at Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute in Chattanooga, TN. This facility specializes in behavioral health services, and the LPN will support patients with mental health needs in a structured, secure clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects
• Observe and document patient behavior and condition changes
• Assist with treatment plans and therapeutic interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and medical records
• Respond to patient needs and de-escalate situations when needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
Minimum Qualifications:
• Active LPN license
• At least 1 year of experience required
• Psych or behavioral health experience preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
