Quality Inspector | Up to £35,000 | Automotive & Aerospace

A Quality Inspector opportunity has become available within an established injection moulding business supplying components to the automotive and aerospace sectors.

The successful Quality Inspector will join a busy manufacturing environment where quality, accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Working closely with Production and Quality teams, you will carry out inspections throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring components meet customer specifications and required quality standards.

Quality Inspector responsibilities include:

• Carrying out product and process inspections across injection moulding operations.
• Inspecting finished components against customer specifications and quality standards.
• Identifying, recording and reporting non-conforming products.
• Managing quarantined and rejected components.
• Recording inspection results and supporting corrective actions.

Quality Inspector desirable skills and experience:

• Previous quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience within injection moulding, automotive, aerospace or another highly regulated manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using inspection equipment and hand-held measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with the confidence to identify and report quality concerns.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office to record and report inspection findings.
• A relevant technical or quality qualification would be advantageous.
