Position Highlights
  • Permanent Part-Time appointment (42 hours per fortnight)
  • Competitive specialist salary:
    • AUD $160.20 – $221.19 per hour (dependent on specialist classification and experience)

The Role As a Fractional Specialist ENT Surgeon, you will:
  • Deliver comprehensive specialist Otolaryngology Head & Neck services across outpatient clinics, inpatient care and operating theatres.
  • Manage a broad range of elective and emergency ENT conditions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care and clinical governance activities.
  • Supervise, mentor and teach junior doctors and other clinical staff.
  • Contribute to service development and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Play a leadership role within an expanding specialist service.

Essential Requirements Applicants should possess:
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, or an equivalent specialist qualification eligible for Specialist Registration in Australia.
  • Current or eligible registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated expertise in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery.
  • Commitment to teaching, supervision and multidisciplinary patient care.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
