Yoh Life Sciences is hiring for an Analytical Scientist to join a combined Analytical Development and Quality Control organization supporting a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in GMP analytical testing and hands-on HPLC/UPLC experience and be able to execute established analytical methods with minimal ramp-up time.
The role will initially focus heavily on routine analytical, stability, and release testing, with opportunities to expand into analytical development and method generation as the individual gains experience within the organization.
Location: Bristol, PA
Duration: 3-6 months with ability to extend
Pay: $30-40/hr DOE
Shift: Wed. - Sat or Sun - Wed. 8am -6pm
Key Responsibilities
The strongest candidates will have a GMP QC/analytical testing foundation with strong HPLC/UPLC skills and the ability to begin executing established methods quickly. Experience with every analytical technique is not required, as training will be provided.
Candidates who demonstrate curiosity and the ability to learn new techniques will have the opportunity to expand beyond routine testing and eventually contribute to analytical development and method generation.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine analytical testing using HPLC and UPLC in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment.
- Execute established analytical methods supporting release testing, stability studies, and manufacturing operations.
- Perform analytical testing utilizing techniques such as AEX, SEC, and purity-based assays.
- Accurately prepare samples, standards, buffers, and reagents in accordance with approved procedures.
- Review and interpret analytical data while identifying and escalating atypical or unexpected results.
- Maintain accurate and compliant laboratory documentation in accordance with GMP requirements.
- Follow established SOPs, analytical methods, laboratory procedures, and data-integrity requirements.
- Support laboratory investigations, troubleshooting, and resolution of analytical issues as appropriate.
- Train on additional analytical techniques and instrumentation as required by the organization.
- Collaborate with QC, Analytical Development, and Manufacturing teams to support a seven-day manufacturing operation.
- Over time, contribute to analytical method development, optimization, and method generation as experience and training progress.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant analytical laboratory experience.
- GMP experience is required.
- Strong hands-on experience with HPLC and/or UPLC.
- Experience executing established analytical methods in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Understanding of fundamental analytical chemistry principles and chromatography.
- Ability to accurately document laboratory activities and analytical results.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to work a flexible/rotational schedule, including potential weekend coverage, to support a seven-day manufacturing operation.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ADC/AOC analytical testing or characterization.
- Experience with SEC, AEX, and purity assays.
- Experience supporting stability and release testing.
- Experience with paper-based GMP laboratory documentation/notebooks.
- Exposure to GC, LC-MS, or capillary electrophoresis (CE).
- Experience with analytical method development, optimization, qualification, or validation.
- Experience working within a combined QC and Analytical Development environment.
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
