IT Project Manager

My client is looking to appoint a Project Manager on a 6-8 month contract, with a view to extend who will be responsible for managing ICT projects, applying appropriate project management governance and methodologies.
 
The project portfolio will include (but is not limited to):

• Integration/system implementation 
• Infrastructure and network development
• Other related ICT initiatives supporting their FY27 IT road map.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and close ICT projects in line with agreed scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards
• Apply recognised project management frameworks, tools, and documentation
• Coordinate, track progress, manage risks and issues
• Engage and communicate with stakeholders
• Collaborate with vendors and internal technical teams 

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Current PMP or PRINCE2 certification or ITIL
• Experience in IT project management
• Proven ability to work autonomously 
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable

• Background in infrastructure and/or network projects
• Experience working in a large, complex organisations (e.g. local or state government) is an advantage

Western Suburbs Location
Hybrid working model- 1 day in the office
Day rate range $900-$950 inc super
