Core Personnel Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with an established, family-founded metal finishing company in Rowlett, TX. The company has more than 40 years in business and serves the aerospace, automotive, medical, and electronics industries. If you like hands-on troubleshooting, an early schedule, and having your afternoons free, this is a stable, long-term role.

The Details

  • Pay: $35/hr

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–2:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays scheduled in advance

  • Type: Direct Hire

  • Location: Rowlett, TX 75088

What You’ll Do

  • Keep plating lines and finishing equipment running: pumps, filters, tanks, heaters, rectifiers, and hoists

  • Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical problems on the production floor

  • Complete preventive maintenance on compressors, ventilation, boilers, and wastewater systems

  • Support powder coating and paint equipment, including ovens, booths, and blasting

  • Handle welding, fabrication, and plumbing repairs as needed

  • Follow lockout/tagout and chemical safety procedures every time

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience

  • Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Comfort working around chemicals and in wet or hot conditions with PPE

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet throughout a shift

Bonus Points

  • Plating, metal finishing, or chemical processing experience

  • Rectifier, PLC, wastewater treatment, or welding experience
