A fast-growing, US-based AI startup is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join its early team in Japan. The company is building a cutting-edge operational intelligence platform for digital infrastructure, leveraging AI/ML-powered analytics to deliver actionable, multi-dimensional insights across network, cloud, and application environments.

We are an early-stage startup and looking for strong solutions engineers to join us and help drive customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Act as the technical expert for the platform across network, application, and security workflows
  • Lead hands-on product integrations and customer deployments
  • Understand customer data, workflows, and analytics needs, and drive implementation
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and collaborate with the sales team
  • Own and deliver POCs from planning to execution
  • Propose product enhancements based on customer feedback and field experience

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of hands-on coding experience
  • Proficient in Python, Ansible, Terraform
  • Familiar with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms
  • Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, CloudFormation, YAML
  • Experience writing SQL queries and analyzing data in Jupyter Notebooks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure (e.g., Data Center, WAN, SD-WAN, DNS/DHCP, Load Balancing)
  • Familiarity with network analytics
