The role supports clinical operations by delivering routine nursing services, assisting providers, and caring for both adult and pediatric patients.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm (Mon-Wed-Fri) and 9:30am to 5:30pm (Tues-Thurs)
- Setting: Ambulatory care center
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care under supervision for assigned patients in an ambulatory care setting
- Complete patient screenings, collect vital signs, and support intake and visit preparation
- Assist physicians and clinical staff with examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures
- Perform venipuncture, injections, EKGs, PPD placement and reading, and related clinical tasks
- Document patient care, maintain charts and records, and help coordinate patient flow and follow-up
Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential.
- At least 1 year of LPN experience in an ambulatory health facility
- Experience providing care to pediatric patients
- Ability to perform venipuncture and administer injections
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Bilingual ability in Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Yiddish, or Urdu
- Experience with patient scheduling, chart preparation, and clinical documentation
- Familiarity with ambulatory or primary care workflows
