My client, an established & growing D&C HVAC contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join their growing Melbourne team.
Working across a strong pipeline of commercial, fit out, refurbishment and defence projects, this is an opportunity to take ownership of site delivery while working alongside an experienced project management and engineering team on a growing portfolio of work.
About
As Mechanical Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of mechanical services on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

As Mechanical Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of mechanical services on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Managing day-to-day HVAC site activities and subcontractors
- Coordinating mechanical works with builders, trades and other services
- Managing site teams and ensuring works are delivered to program
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction documentation
- Monitoring quality, safety and installation standards
- Coordinating materials, deliveries and labour requirements
- Working closely with the Project Manager and broader delivery team
- Identifying and resolving site issues before they impact program or cost
- Attending site meetings and providing regular project updates
- Supporting commissioning, testing and project handover
Person Spec
You will be an experienced Mechanical Site Manager / Supervisor with a strong background in commercial HVAC delivery.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience delivering commercial HVAC projects in a site-based role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical services, installation and construction methodologies
- Experience working for an HVAC D&C contractor or mechanical subcontractor
- Experience across fit out, refurbishment, commercial or defence projects
- Strong subcontractor and site coordination skills
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and documentation
- A proactive approach to problem solving and project delivery
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with builders and other trades
