Techforce Personnel are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for a client to support their telecommunications and networks infrastructure projects. This is a full-time contract, hybrid role, with the office located at Cremorne and very close to Richmond Station. This contract is offered initially to 31/12/2026, however, for the right candidate, this could lead to an extension or permanent position.
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, this position will provide commercial support to Project teams enabling the delivery of commercial performance and compliance targets. You will hit the ground running and be open to doing a variety of admin and commercial contractual tasks. With a customer-centric mindset, you will manage commercial relationships and lead issues to resolution. You will develop connections with internal and external teams to support the Telco and Network Business Units.
Some key responsibilities include:
- being a commercial representative with supply chain and clients
- devising claim strategies regarding potential/imminent disputes
- providing commercial support to project teams in the delivery of contracted projects and contractual obligations
- drive and improve management and admin of commercial contract policies, processes and procedures
- lead commercial negotiations regarding variations, claims and renewals
- commercial risk identification and mitigation
- active engagement with operational teams
- ensure statutory compliance
- lead strategic initiatives on revenue assurance to minimise revenue leakage
- facilitate DOA approval process
- timely and accurate onboarding of supply chain, including preparation and negotiation of supply chain contracts
You must have:
- commercial and contractual management experience
- commercial acumen and be able to drive results and financial impact
- an understanding of contract and construction law and project commercial administration systems
- a proven track record in delivering commercial outcomes at an operational level
- 5+ years' experience in commercial activities
- must be an Australian Citizen and have a current Police Check
Prior commercial and contractual experience in Construction and Telecommunication would be highly desirable.
