Stellar Maintenance is recruiting on behalf of a major owner-operator for multiple permanent Underground Auto Electrician opportunities across WA.

• $160,000-$215,000 + Super (depending on experience and roster)

About the role: You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a large fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment, carrying out:
  

• Diagnose electrical faults on mobile mining equipment
• Repair and maintain electrical systems and components
• Complete breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance
• Install and test wiring, lighting and communication systems
• Service starters, alternators, batteries and charging systems
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and rectify faults
• Complete scheduled inspections and equipment servicing
• Read and interpret electrical schematics
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Follow site safety procedures and complete Take 5s/JHAs

Experience we're looking for:

• Australian recognised Auto Electrician trade qualification
• Minimum 2 years' mining experience on underground heavy mobile plant machinery
• Strong experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment
• Proven diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Experience on CAT (R1700, R2900, Sandvik (L&H and Drills), Volvo IT and Normet, Epiroc or similar OEM equipment
• Current C Class Driver's Licence

Compliance Requirements:

• Current Australian work rights
• National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
• Pre-employment Medical (within 12 months), or willingness to complete one
• Ability to obtain all required site inductions and access
