We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Supervisor to join a major data centre construction project based in Helsinki, Finland. About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Supervisor to join a major data centre construction project based in Helsinki, Finland. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile international project within a fast-growing sector, delivering critical infrastructure to world-class standards.
The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate civil construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee day-to-day civil works on the project site
- Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure work progresses according to schedule
- Monitor quality, productivity, and compliance with project specifications
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with health and safety requirements
- Review drawings, plans, and technical documentation
- Identify and resolve site issues in collaboration with engineering and project teams
- Track progress and provide regular updates to project management
- Support inspections, testing activities, and quality control procedures
- Ensure materials, labour, and equipment are effectively utilised
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting documentation
- Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor within large-scale construction projects
- Previous experience on data centre, industrial, infrastructure, or major commercial projects is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods and site operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and site compliance requirements
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Relevant construction qualification or trade background preferred
- EU Citizen or Finnish Residence permit
