Mid-Level Software Engineer (Mobile / React Native)

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum

With long-term financial runway fully secured (3–5+ years), they are seeking a highly intelligent Mid-Level Mobile / Software Engineer who wants true ownership, zero bureaucracy, and the autonomy to shape a live, high-impact product.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Mobile Development: Build and ship production iOS and Android features end-to-end using TypeScript, React Native, and Expo (Expo Router, EAS).
  • Data Visualisation: Create dynamic, interactive charts, data-visualisation components, and custom UI controls.
  • Integrations & Security: Connect secure REST APIs (auth, token refresh) and integrate third-party payment, broker, and KYC services following strict mobile security standards.
  • Quality & Delivery: Maintain automated tests, run PR code reviews, monitor performance via Sentry, and handle App Store/Google Play releases.


What We Need

  • Academic Excellence: STEM degree (Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering)
  • Core Tech Stack: Solid TypeScript, React, and React Native skills with experience shipping production mobile apps via Expo.
  • Data Visualisation: Hands-on experience building interactive charts, custom drawing, or dynamic data rendering in React Native.
  • Mindset: Proactive problem solver with an owner mentality—curious, pragmatic, and eager to make the product better.


Nice to Have

  • Node.js/Express, SQL, Docker/Azure, GitHub Actions, or Firebase/GA4 analytics
