As a Picker Loader / Forklift Operator within the Distribution team, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, handled, and dispatched safely and on time. This is a day shift position working from 7:00am, with full-time hours available.
Your responsibilities will include:

As a Picker Loader / Forklift Operator within the Distribution team, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, handled, and dispatched safely and on time. This is a day shift position working from 7:00am, with full-time hours available.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently within the distribution area
- Picking, scanning, and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading trucks in accordance with site procedures
- Handling raw chicken products and maintaining product quality standards
- Working in chilled and cold storage environments
- Conducting pre-start forklift inspections and reporting any issues
- Ensuring stock is stored, rotated, and managed correctly
- Maintaining accurate inventory and dispatch records
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Following all food safety, quality, and WHS requirements
- Assisting with general warehouse and distribution duties as required
- Current and valid LF Forklift Licence
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and work with raw poultry products
- Comfortable working in a cold environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking orders
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily operational targets
