Recruitment Consultant - All the People, None of the Cold Calling

We're looking for a relationship-focused Recruitment Consultant to join our team in a role that comes with a bit of a twist: there's no business development required.
 
That means no cold calling, no building prospect lists and no pressure to hunt down new clients. Instead, you'll focus on what many recruiters actually enjoy most, finding great people, managing established client relationships and delivering an excellent recruitment experience from start to finish.

What you'll be doing:
You'll work across an existing portfolio of clients and vacancies, taking ownership of the recruitment process and making sure both candidates and clients feel well looked after.
Your role will include:

• Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates
• Writing engaging job adverts
• Presenting suitable candidates to clients
• Coordinating interviews, offers and placements
• Building strong relationships with existing clients
• Understanding client needs and providing recruitment advice
• Keeping candidates informed and engaged throughout the process
• Managing ongoing account requirements and identifying opportunities within existing relationships
• Keeping systems and candidate records up to date

What we're looking for
You might already be working in recruitment and love the delivery side but feel less excited about the constant sales pressure.
Alternatively, you may come from account management, customer service, talent acquisition or another people-focused role and be ready to step into agency recruitment.
You'll be someone who:

• Builds genuine relationships easily
• Enjoys talking to and learning about people
• Can manage multiple roles and priorities
• Communicates clearly and keeps people updated
• Is organised, resilient and comfortable working at pace
• Takes ownership and follows things through
• Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
• Has recruitment or account management experience, although the right attitude and transferable skills are just as important
