The Organisation

Ronald McDonald House Australia is a national charity supporting families with children who are ill or injured. Working across a federated network of 11 independently governed chapters, Ronald McDonald House Australia provides national leadership, shared services and strategic support to strengthen collective impact across the country.

Each year, Ronald McDonald House Australia supports thousands of families through Ronald McDonald Houses, Family Rooms, Family Retreats, Hospitality Carts and the Ronald McDonald Learning Program. As the National Affiliate chapter, Ronald McDonald House Australia plays a central role in helping chapters deliver exceptional support to families while strengthening the organisation's national presence and reputation.

The organisation continues to evolve its brand and communications capability, and a newly created opportunity has arisen for a Brand & Communications Partner to join the team.

The Role

Reporting to the Brand & Marketing Manager, you will support the adoption and ongoing management of the organisation’s brand across Australia. Combining strategic thinking with practical execution, you will work closely with chapters and internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency, elevate storytelling and strengthen communications capability across the national system.

You will help bring the brand to life through compelling content, practical tools and trusted advice, supporting stakeholders to confidently apply brand principles while identifying opportunities to enhance engagement and impact.


Skills Required

You are a relationship-focused brand and communications professional who enjoys helping others succeed. You have strong stakeholder engagement skills, a strategic mindset and the ability to balance big-picture thinking with practical delivery. Comfortable working across multiple priorities and stakeholders, you can influence outcomes through collaboration, credibility and trusted advice rather than formal authority.

You will bring to the role:

  • Experience in brand, communications or marketing
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability
  • Experience embedding and maintaining brand standards across diverse stakeholders
  • Strong written communication and content development skills
  • Experience developing communications initiatives, campaigns or strategies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
