Job Summary
Are you detail-oriented with experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Quality Coordinator to join our team in Plymouth, MI. In this role, you will help ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process by monitoring quality systems, supporting inspections, maintaining documentation, and working closely with production to resolve quality concerns.
Previous Internal Auditor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong quality management background.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Quality Coordinator, your core responsibilities will include:
• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet company and customer quality standards
• Perform quality inspections and maintain accurate quality documentation and records
• Support the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with internal audits and corrective action processes (training provided if needed)
• Review engineering drawings and specifications to verify product requirements
• Use precision measuring tools to inspect and verify product quality
• Work closely with production teams to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues
• Maintain quality reports and documentation using Microsoft Office applications
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
• Associate or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience with a focus on quality management or quality control
• Previous Internal Auditor experience is a plus but not required—we will train the right candidate
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001 standards
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment
• Commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality standards
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
