Salary: $220,000-$280,000 + super
 
The Opportunity
 
We are partnering with a leading organization to appoint an experienced Head of Cyber Security to lead and shape its cyber security function.
 
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an established cyber professional who can combine strategic thinking, technical understanding and strong commercial judgement.
 
You will be responsible for developing and executing the organization's cyber security strategy, managing cyber risk and building a high-performing security function.
 
What We're Looking For

• Significant experience leading cyber security, information security or technology risk functions within a complex organisation.
• Proven experience developing and delivering enterprise-wide cyber security strategies and roadmaps.
• Strong understanding across cyber security operations, governance, risk, cloud security, architecture and incident response.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing cyber security teams.
• Strong understanding of frameworks and regulatory requirements such as NIST, ISO 27001, Essential Eight and CPS 234.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with C-suite, executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organisation's cyber security strategy and roadmap.
• Lead and mentor the cyber security team, building capability and a strong security culture.
• Identify, assess and manage enterprise cyber security risks.
• Oversee security operations, governance, risk, compliance and incident response capabilities.
• Provide clear reporting and recommendations to senior executives and the Board.
• Partner with technology and business leaders to embed security into strategic initiatives and transformation programs.
• Ensure the organisation maintains appropriate security controls and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the organisation's response to significant cyber security incidents.
• Manage security budgets, vendors and strategic technology partners.
