Data Engineer- 3 month contracts- 2k

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
• Work with AWS cloud services to build and support data engineering solutions.
• Develop and optimize data processing workflows using Apache Spark.
• Collaborate closely with Data Analysts, Business teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Take ownership of gathering, clarifying, and understanding requirements, proactively identifying data and technical needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data pipelines and solutions meet business and analytical requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and data processing workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the team's data platform and engineering practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering. Junior and Fresher candidates are not suitable for this position.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and large-scale data processing.
• Strong SQL and data processing skills.
• Experience working with Data Analysts, Business teams, stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong ability to understand, clarify, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of requirements and delivering solutions independently.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
