Job Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Operations
- Design, build, and continuously optimize the partner acquisition engine, including lead generation strategies, sales playbooks, pipeline management, and conversion tracking.
- Develop scalable processes that improve sales efficiency and drive consistent execution across markets.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of field sales professionals across APAC, establishing clear performance goals, KPIs, and accountability frameworks.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and customer success.
- Analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and operational gaps.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve sales effectiveness and inform regional strategy.
- Own and enhance CRM infrastructure, reporting cadence, sales tools, and operational workflows that enable the field team to perform efficiently at scale.
- Drive adoption of best practices and standardized operating procedures across markets.
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Onboarding teams to ensure sales teams have the resources, messaging, and support needed to successfully acquire and activate new partners.
- Align cross-functional initiatives to improve partner experience and accelerate growth.
- Gather and synthesize insights from regional markets to inform commercial strategy and provide valuable feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor competitive trends and identify opportunities to strengthen market performance.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality onboarding experiences across markets by collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish scalable activation processes and set new partners up for long-term success.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in sales leadership, sales operations, business operations, or commercial strategy, ideally within a marketplace, platform business, or other high-growth technology company.
- Proven success managing and developing distributed field sales teams across multiple markets.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience using data to drive decision-making, improve performance, and build reporting dashboards. Experience with CRM platforms (such as Salesforce or HubSpot) and business intelligence tools is an advantage.
- Deep understanding of sales operations, including pipeline management, conversion optimization, territory planning, forecasting, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and align diverse priorities.
- A proactive, resourceful operator who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and enjoys building scalable processes from the ground up.
- Strong understanding of APAC markets and experience operating across diverse cultures and business environments.
- Experience working with marketplace businesses, independent professionals, small business owners, or platform ecosystems is highly desirable.
- Based in Singapore with the ability to travel to key markets within APAC as needed.
