Role Overview
- Position Type: Full Time Permanent (x2 positions available)
- Start Date: Term 3, 2026 (July)
- Location: Melbourne's West Suburbs
- Subject Areas / Year Levels: Religious Education Years 7-12
- Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Religious Education lessons across junior, middle and VCE year levels
- Teach VCE Religious Education and Humanities subjects with confidence and subject expertise
- Support students in exploring faith, values and Catholic social teaching in a contemporary context
- Contribute to the Catholic identity and mission of the college through classroom practice and broader community life
- Maintain accurate student records, assessments and reporting in line with college and MACS requirements
- Collaborate with faculty colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation and professional learning
You're a qualified teacher who:
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
