Japan COO

MODEは、アメリカ発のスタートアップで、日本市場において大手企業への採用が進んでおり、現在第2創業期を迎えています。日本でのオペレーション全体を統括するJapan COOは、売上10億円から50億円への成長を牽引するとともに、コーポレート機能（HR / Finance / Legal）を一手に担います。US本社と日本組織の橋渡し役として、信頼を得ながら意思決定をリードします。

このポジションは、日本法人の「設計者」かつ「運営責任者」として、以下を担当します。

設計者として：

• 日本法人の法的・ガバナンス構造の設計および意思決定
• 資本政策・日本でのストックオプション制度の設計のリード
• 組織・評価制度・KPI体系の再設計
• ガバナンス構造・内部規程の整備まで、ゼロから構築
• 資本政策の設計

運営：

• コーポレート機能の統括（HR / Finance / Legal）: 東京・サンフランシスコのコーポレートチームメンバーをリードし、採用・評価制度の改善、P&L管理・販売KPIの管理、法務対応、およびIPO準備の指揮を担います。
• 健全で持続可能な企業文化の主導: 健康的で持続可能な企業文化の醸成を主導し、高い組織エンゲージメントと長期的な安定性を確保します。
• US/JPブリッジ: 日本組織を代表してUS本社・ボードと直接折衝し、方針の翻訳と実行をつなぎます。
• 投資家コミュニケーション: 国内外の投資家向けに月次レポートを作成し、定例会議を運営します。
• 事業スケールの推進: 日本における売上5億円から50億円規模への成長を、オペレーション面から支えます。
• エンタープライズ顧客の拡大を前提としたオペレーション設計
• ボトルネック解消
• ARR / 導入数 / デリバリー効率などのKPI改善

Requirements

Must-Have (Essential)

• Management Experience (5+ years): Experience scaling an organization from the ground up in a startup or multinational corporation, or experience in cross-functional coordination within a matrix organization.
• Engineering Collaboration: Ability to engage in constructive dialogue with business stakeholders while understanding technical constraints and development processes (An engineering background is not required but respect for the craft is essential).
• Conflict Management: Proven ability to drive consensus through logic and data among leadership members with strong, diverse personalities.
• Bilingual Communication: Business-level English and Japanese or higher. Ability to debate directly with the US Board of Directors and build deep trust.

Nice-to-Have (Preferred)

• IPO Readiness: Experience in the listing process, including negotiations with lead underwriters and audit firms, or establishing internal controls.
