We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a skilled CNC professional who enjoys programming, setup, machining, and troubleshooting and wants to work in a stable manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong CNC programming and machining experience, the ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings, and experience working with both CNC and conventional machines.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional/manual lathes and mills
- Program CNC mills and lathes and make programming adjustments as needed
- Utilize G-Code for CNC programming and editing
- Set up mills and lathes by installing chucks, tools, attachments, and other equipment
- Verify machine settings by measuring positions and producing first-run and sample parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, and SolidWorks drawings
- Use precision inspection and measurement equipment to verify parts before, during, and after machining
- Maintain required part tolerances and identify potential quality issues
- Troubleshoot machine setups and machining problems
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of CNC machining experience, preferably within a regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and machining operations
- Experience with G-Code programming and editing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks drawings
- Strong knowledge of shop mathematics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and related mathematical applications
- Ability to use precision measurement and inspection instruments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a preemployment screening

- Yama-Seiki
- Fanuc Controls
Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM | 1-hour lunch
