Apply directAbout the Opportunity
A private-equity-backed business is expanding through acquisitions across the technology and digital infrastructure space, and is hiring an M&A professional at Manager / Associate Director level, based in Singapore, to help drive that agenda.
This is a principal-side seat. You would sit close to the deals, working alongside the investment team behind the business to identify, evaluate and execute mergers and acquisitions across the IT, technology and digital infrastructure space. It suits someone who has spent time advising on TMT deals and now wants to own them from the inside rather than pitch them from the outside.
The Role
You would run the full deal lifecycle:
- Source and screen acquisition and merger targets across IT, technology and digital infrastructure
- Assess strategic fit, market positioning and growth potential for each opportunity
- Build the financial and risk models that support a decision, including DCF and LBO analysis
- Shape the deal: structuring, terms, negotiation and execution
- Coordinate legal, finance and internal teams through due diligence, surfacing the hurdles before they become problems
- Steer post-merger integration and track how acquired businesses perform once they are in the fold
- Report on M&A activity to senior management and work with external advisers across the deal lifecycle
- Keep everything inside the lines on regulation and company policy
What Makes You a Fit
You have likely spent 5 to 8 years in corporate finance, investment banking, or management consulting, with real M&A execution behind you — not just models and pitchbooks, but deals that closed.
- A background in TMT (technology, media, telecom) investment banking, where you have worked on M&A, matters most here
- You are fluent in DCF and LBO modelling and comfortable pressure-testing the numbers behind a target
- You hold a degree in Finance, Business or a related field
- A track record of executing M&A end-to-end is what sets the right candidate apart
Commercial judgement matters more than the exact title you hold today. If you have the deal experience and the sector fluency, we are open to a range of backgrounds.
What is On Offer
- A principal-side seat with genuine ownership of the deal, not a support role on a transaction that belongs to someone else
- Direct exposure to the private equity investment team behind the business and how they think about value
- A sector sitting at the intersection of digital infrastructure and private capital, where the deal flow is real
