Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in heavy engineering, fabrication, maintenance or industrial projects?
We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of medium to large-scale engineering projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard. Reporting to the General Manager of Projects, you'll take ownership of projects from award through to completion, overseeing all commercial, operational, technical and client-facing aspects of delivery
  
Key responsibilities:

• Managing medium to large-scale engineering projects from initiation to completion
• Developing project execution plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements
• Leading project teams and coordinating internal stakeholders
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and procurement activities
• Monitoring project performance against cost, schedule, quality and safety targets
• Managing project risks, variations and scope changes
• Preparing forecasts, financial reports and project governance updates
• Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring exceptional project outcomes
• Ensuring all project documentation, quality records and handover packages are completed
• Supporting and mentoring Project Engineers within the team
• Promoting a strong health, safety and environmental culture across all project activities

  
About You
To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:

• Proven experience managing engineering, fabrication, maintenance or industrial projects
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasting and cost control
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive project performance
• Sound understanding of contract administration, variations and project risk management
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site-based activities
• Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills
• Strong communication and reporting abilities
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong leadership capability
