Mold Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Title: MOLDING OPERATORJob Location: BATTLE CREEK MI 49037 Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: 1st SHIFT: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | $16.50/hr.2nd SHIFT: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | $18.50/hr.3rd SHIFT: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | $17.75/hr. Job Description: We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Molding Operators to join our client’s manufacturing team. This role supports molding, oven, and trim operations within a fast-paced production environment. Operators will be responsible for producing high-quality components, meeting production targets, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred Ability to work near industrial ovens while following safety protocols Physical ability to bend, stoop, twist, lift, and remain active throughout the shift Ability to lift to 50 lbs. regularly Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking Ability to read and follow written instructions and SOPs Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently Willingness to learn and adapt to production processes Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check Responsibilities of positionPrepare materials for production by staging fiber blankets and loading them into industrial ovens according to specifications Monitor oven heating cycles to ensure proper temperature, timing, and material consistency Transfer heated materials into molds and operate molding equipment to form parts Operate trimming equipment (waterjet or trim press) to remove excess material and ensure quality finishes Inspect parts during and after production to identify defects, inconsistencies, or irregularities Accurately label, package, and document finished products for inventory and shipment Record production data, material usage, and scrap in the Plex system Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S and safety protocols Work independently and collaboratively to meet production targets and deadlines Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Friends Don't Keep Secrets Don't make it awkward spread the word to your friends!
