About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: Day shift
- Setting: Field / construction / mission-critical facilities
Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and label low-voltage and controls wiring according to project drawings and specifications
- Interpret and follow engineered plans, wiring diagrams, schematics, electrical single-lines, and network diagrams
- Install sensors, controllers, meters, gateways, network switches, and related field devices
- Configure controls devices using laptops and approved software tools
- Perform point-to-point testing, functional testing, and support system startup activities
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in controls installation, low-voltage electrical work, electrical installation, or a related technical trade
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and network drawings
- Experience with wiring termination, device installation, and field troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing and switching
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with controls platforms such as Niagara, Rockwell Automation, Distech, or similar BMS ecosystems
- Experience supporting building management systems or electrical power monitoring systems
- Familiarity with BACnet and Modbus protocols
- Experience supporting commissioning activities on construction sites
- Python scripting familiarity for reporting or data collection work
