Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex telecommunications and connectivity projects across Australia's mining and enterprise customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Private LTE and 5G network deployments, supporting some of Australia's largest resources organisations.

About the Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of telecommunications and network infrastructure projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will act as the primary customer interface throughout project execution, coordinating internal engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Private LTE and 5G network projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality outcomes.
• Deliver projects in accordance with agreed customer and commercial objectives.
• Manage customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, commissioning, and testing activities.
• Oversee vendors, subcontractors, and procurement activities.
• Track project performance and provide regular KPI and milestone reporting.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Ensure all project documentation, governance, and change management processes are maintained.
• Support variation proposals, additional project opportunities, and future customer initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and operational standards.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• 5+ years' experience in Project Management within telecommunications, network infrastructure, mining technology, or industrial communications environments.
• Experience delivering telecommunications or technology projects in mining, resources, energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
• Strong stakeholder and customer management skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and resources.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and external vendors.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following:

• Private LTE or 5G networks
• Telecommunications infrastructure
• Radio Access Networks (RAN)
• Core networks
• Microwave communications
• IP networking and transport technologies
• Operational Technology (OT) networks
• Mining communications systems
• Industrial connectivity solutions

Desirable Qualifications

• PMP, Prince2, PMI or equivalent Project Management certification
• Telecommunications, Engineering, IT, or related technical qualification
