Join a well-established and steadily growing insurance brokerage known for its personalised approach and strong, long-standing client relationships. With a collaborative team of around a dozen professionals, the business is continuing to evolve—bringing in fresh talent while maintaining the experience and stability that has built its reputation.
This role offers flexibility depending on your experience; whether you step in as a Senior Assistant, Account Executive or take ownership as an Account Manager. You’ll be working across a sizable SME portfolio (approx. $600K book, 500 clients), split with another Account Manager. Primarily in an internal capacity, there is occasional client-facing interaction. It’s an opportunity to either support and strengthen the existing structure or take on greater ownership and help shape the next phase of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage or support a portfolio of SME insurance clients
- Handle renewals, endorsements, and day-to-day policy servicing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers
- Prepare documentation, reports, and recommendations
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery
- Attend client meetings where required
- Utilise systems such as WinBEAT, SCTP, and Organise IT
About You
- Experience in insurance broking, ideally within SME portfolios
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working in a predominantly internal role with occasional client interaction
- Ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team
- Tier 1 qualification (or working towards) is highly regarded
