Job Summary

The General Labor/Material Handler in Manufacturing Environment  is responsible for assembling and handling fiberglass/composite products while following production, quality, and safety standards. This position operates hand tools, power tools, and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and finish SMC/fiberglass products according to work orders and production standards

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, molds, presses, and production equipment safely

  • Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards

  • Read and understand work instructions and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

  • Inspect finished products for defects and accuracy

  • Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the work area

  • Meet daily production goals and complete additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English

  • Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred

  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely

  • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work overtime as needed

  • Must pass background check and drug test

Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive hand movements throughout the shift. Work is indoors in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to heat, dust, fiberglass materials, noise, and strong odors.
