A leading precision manufacturing business is currently expanding its machining department due to a significant increase in workload and long-term customer demand.
As part of planned growth, we are looking to recruit several CNC Operators with basic setting experience to join a busy and well-established manufacturing facility.
The Role of CNC Operator
Working within a modern machining environment, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating CNC milling and turning machines
- Carrying out basic machine setting activities
- Tool changes and offset adjustments
- Loading and unloading components
- Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances
- Working from engineering drawings and process instructions
- Conducting in-process inspections and quality check.
We are keen to speak with CNC Operators who have:
- Previous CNC operating experience
- Basic setting knowledge
- Experience carrying out tool changes and adjustments
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- A strong eye for detail and quality
- Experience within precision engineering, manufacturing, machining or production environments
