Service Account Manager

Monroe Consulting Group is currently assisting a leading multinational medical device company in the search for a Service Manager based in South Jakarta.

We are seeking a commercially minded service leader with a strong technical background in the medical device industry. The ideal candidate should have progressed from a service engineering function into leadership roles, with proven experience managing service teams, driving operational excellence, and identifying opportunities to grow service-related revenue.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Service Engineering team to ensure high-quality technical support and customer satisfaction.

• Develop and execute strategies to transform the service function from a cost center into a profit-generating business unit.

• Drive service revenue growth through maintenance contracts, service agreements, spare parts, and value-added service offerings.

• Monitor service performance, operational KPIs, and resource utilization to improve efficiency and service delivery.

• Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to support long-term business growth and retention.

• Coach, mentor, and develop service engineers while fostering a high-performance culture.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Applications, and Regional Service teams to support business objectives and customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of experience within the medical device industry, with strong exposure to service operations.

• Proven experience leading and developing service engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of service contracts, after-sales support, maintenance programs, and technical service operations.

• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and drive service revenue opportunities.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Comfortable working in a regional and matrix organization environment.
