Clinical Nurse Manager II – Emergency Department (ED)

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager II (CNM II) to join our busy Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled nursing professional to lead and support a dedicated multidisciplinary team while delivering exceptional, patient-centred care in a fast-paced acute hospital environment.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be registered in the General Division of the register maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

• Have a minimum of five years' post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.

• Have at least two years' recent experience working within an Emergency Department.

• Hold a Postgraduate Qualification in Emergency Nursing.

• Have a minimum of one year's management or leadership experience.

• Demonstrate a proven ability to plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate high-quality patient care within the Emergency Department.

• Possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and positively engage colleagues, patients, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

• Be confident in working effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of clinical care and patient safety.

• Have strong organisational and decision-making skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Be proficient in the use of relevant IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable

• Completion of a recognised management or leadership development programme.
