Senior Interior Designer

The Opportunity 

Our client is looking for someone who can take ownership of project delivery and technical execution. Whilst design capability is valued, the priority is finding an experienced technical designer who excels in documentation, consultant coordination and construction delivery.

You'll work closely with the Director to manage projects from detailed design through construction, ensuring documentation is accurate, consultants are coordinated and projects are delivered seamlessly with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the technical delivery of luxury residential projects from Design Development through Construction.

• Produce high-quality construction documentation using Vectorworks.

• Prepare detailed joinery packages and construction details.

• Coordinate consultants including architects, engineers, lighting, landscape and specialist subcontractors.

• Prepare tender documentation and coordinate tender submissions.

• Manage construction administration throughout project delivery.

• Attend site meetings and liaise with builders, contractors and consultants.

• Resolve technical design issues during documentation and construction.

• Oversee project delivery with minimal supervision while maintaining exceptional documentation standards.

• Assist with DA, CC and CDC documentation where required.

About You

• Extensive experience delivering high-end residential projects.

• Advanced proficiency in Vectorworks.

• Strong joinery documentation experience.

• Excellent construction detailing knowledge.

• Proven consultant coordination experience.

• Construction administration experience.

• Ability to independently manage projects from documentation through construction.

• Strong understanding of Australian construction methodologies and detailing.

• DA, CC and CDC documentation experience.

• Luxury bespoke residential project experience.
