Location: Taylor, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hr
Job Summary
We’re seeking a dependable Robotic Weld Cell Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Taylor, MI. This position is responsible for operating robotic welding equipment, loading and unloading components into robotic weld cells, performing quality inspections, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or robotic cell experience looking to grow their skills in an automotive manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Robotic Weld Cell Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
Robotic Weld Cell Operation: Load and unload metal components into robotic welding fixtures, start machine cycles, monitor weld operations, and keep production running efficiently throughout the shift.
Quality Inspection: Inspect welded components for defects, verify weld quality, check part dimensions when required, and notify supervisors of any quality concerns.
Production Support: Replenish materials, remove finished parts, complete production documentation, maintain work areas, and assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.
In addition, you will follow all safety procedures, maintain production standards, and work closely with team members to support daily production goals.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
- Experience working around robotic welding equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify quality concerns and defective parts.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable operating manufacturing equipment and automated machinery.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to following all safety requirements and procedures.

Work Environment
This position is performed in a manufacturing environment with robotic welding equipment. Employees should be comfortable standing for extended periods, working around machinery, and performing repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
