About the PositionAn exciting opportunity is available for a passionate Music Teacher to join the College on a full-time, 12-month contract commencing in Term 3, 2026, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. The successful applicant will teach Music from Kindergarten to Year 10 and play a key role in developing and strengthening the College's Music programme. This position is ideal for an educator who is enthusiastic about inspiring young musicians, fostering creativity, and building a vibrant Music culture that encourages students to continue their studies into the senior years.
Skills and Responsibilities- Deliver engaging Music programs for students from Kindergarten to Year 10 in line with the NSW curriculum.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and creating inclusive learning environments.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support student growth and achievement.
- Collaborate with staff to develop the Music curriculum and contribute to the growth of the performing arts programme.
- Demonstrate leadership by building a strong Music culture through performances, ensembles, and co-curricular opportunities.
- Hold current NESA Teacher Accreditation or be eligible to obtain accreditation.
- Relevant teaching qualifications with the ability to teach Music from Kindergarten to Year 10.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Ability to provide professional references and satisfy safeguarding and compliance requirements.
