Creative Director - Brand & Design

LOCATION

• Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the Charlotte office

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Set the creative direction and visual standards for the brand, ensuring campaigns and content feel cohesive while continuing to evolve the look and feel
• Lead creative development across a high volume of integrated campaigns spanning digital, social, web, app, in-store materials, packaging, advertising, and other consumer-facing assets
• Guide, mentor, and develop a team of designers and content creators while providing clear priorities, feedback, and creative direction
• Partner across marketing, brand, product, digital, and other teams to translate business priorities into compelling creative concepts and executions
• Strengthen creative operations by improving workflows, prioritization, timelines, resource planning, and production efficiency within a fast-paced environment
• Provide creative direction to external partners while helping build the processes, capabilities, and team structure necessary to bring more work in-house over time

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

• 8+ years of progressive graphic, visual, or digital design experience with meaningful experience leading creative teams and directing integrated brand work
• A strong graphic design foundation with the ability to both set creative strategy and confidently engage in the work when needed; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is expected
• Experience developing high-volume, multi-channel consumer campaigns across a mix of digital and physical formats, including web, social, paid media, print, signage, packaging, or retail environments
• Background in a fast-paced consumer environment such as QSR, food & beverage, retail, CPG, is required
• Experience leading teams, managing agency relationships, directing creative reviews, and presenting concepts and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, brand development, campaign concepting, and the ability to maintain quality and consistency across a large volume of creative work
