The Opportunity
Tech 5 Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Carpenters for ongoing work in Dannevirke.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and residential construction projects, including:

• Fit-outs
• Finishing carpentry
• Renovations
• Structural carpentry
• General construction work

You’ll be joining a professional team delivering high-quality workmanship across projects that value precision, safety, and attention to detail.

We are looking for carpenters who can work independently, read plans confidently, and take pride in producing quality finishes.

Key ResponsibilitiesYour duties may include:

• Interior fit-outs and finishing carpentry
• Installation of skirting, architraves, doors, and hardware
• Framing and structural carpentry
• Timber work and general construction tasks
• Renovation and alteration work
• Cladding and exterior finishing
• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Maintaining high-quality workmanship and site safety standards
• Working collaboratively with site supervisors and trades teams

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ carpentry experience
• Experience in finishing carpentry and commercial fit-outs preferred
• Trade qualification advantageous but not essential
• Own tools and reliable transport
• Full driver’s licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
