Project Engineer

Join a major industrial capital project and play a key role in the delivery, commissioning and close-out of a large-scale brownfields expansion project in Western Australia.

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer with 3-6 years of experience to support the delivery of a significant site-based capital works program. Working alongside an experienced Project Manager and Construction Manager, you will contribute to construction execution, stakeholder coordination, project controls, commissioning activities and project close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of project scopes in accordance with safety, quality, cost and schedule requirements
• Coordinate engineering, construction and commissioning activities across project work packages
• Monitor project costs, schedules and key performance indicators
• Maintain project action registers, risk registers and reporting systems
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and project documentation
• Assist with contractor and supplier coordination
• Support the development of scopes of work and project execution plans
• Identify project risks and contribute to mitigation strategies
• Communicate technical and project coordination requirements with stakeholders
• Contribute to project reporting and progress updates

About You

• Degree qualified in Engineering or Project Management
• 3-6 years' experience within engineering, construction or project delivery environments
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Project Engineer or similar project-based role
• Mechanical Engineering background preferred, however all engineering disciplines will be considered
• Exposure to site-based capital projects within industrial, mining, resources, manufacturing or infrastructure sectors
• Strong communication, planning and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
