The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy and operational, supporting critical transport operations across the region.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a diverse fleet of light and heavy vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise vehicle downtime.
- Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure fleet availability and reliability.
- Australian-recognised Trade Qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or equivalent.
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing light vehicles, trucks, trailers, and/or heavy transport equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (HR Licence highly regarded).
- Ability to pass a National Police Check and Pre-Employment Medical assessment.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively within a team environment.
- Competitive hourly rates of $55–$65 per hour, depending on experience.
