About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP MPO Consultant to join a major transformation program supporting a large public sector and defence-focused environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex SAP initiatives, contributing to the design, configuration, implementation and ongoing support of critical business capabilities.

Working as a trusted SME and advisor, you will play a key role in delivering SAP solutions that support operational readiness, asset management, logistics, maintenance and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, implementation and support of the SAP Defence & Security (D&S) / DFPS Industry Solution
• Configure and support:
  • Organisational Flexibility
  • Materials Management, including Personal and Functional Equipment
  • Maintenance and Flight Operations support
  • Accounting and financial processes
• Lead workshops, fit-gap analysis and solution design activities
• Drive configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure end-to-end process integration
• Provide trusted advisory services to stakeholders throughout business transformation initiatives
• Support change management activities and adoption of new business processes
• Apply SAP best practice approaches to deliver sustainable outcomes

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years' SAP functional consulting experience within a defence or public sector environment.
• Strong understanding of Defence & Security business processes and data models
• Experience with:
  • Force Elements
  • Flexible Material Planning Objects (MPO)
  • MRP Areas
  • Storage Locations
  • Equipment Management
• Cross-functional knowledge across:
  • Supply Chain
  • Procurement
  • Maintenance
  • Finance
• Proven experience delivering SAP projects through complete project lifecycles
• Strong requirements gathering, solution design, configuration and testing experience
• Experience producing functional specifications and supporting defect resolution
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Highly Desirable

• Defence, Defence Industry or Public Sector experience
• Experience working across other SAP modules in defence environments
• Understanding of complex asset, logistics and maintenance operations

Mandatory Requirements

• Australian Citizenship
• Active NV1 Security Clearance
