Mayvun Arc is partnering with a specialist technology organisation delivering advanced AI infrastructure and cloud platforms across Australia.
We’re looking for a Domain Architect | AI Infrastructure & Security to become a key technical authority across the architecture, deployment, security and operational lifecycle of high-performance AI environments.
This is not a purely strategic architecture role.
You’ll be hands-on, working across NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, AI platforms, Kubernetes, confidential computing and zero-trust security — while also engaging directly with clients, supporting solution design and helping shape future deployments.
The role is approximately 60% technical delivery and 40% architecture, advisory and pre-sales.

We’re looking for a Domain Architect | AI Infrastructure & Security to become a key technical authority across the architecture, deployment, security and operational lifecycle of high-performance AI environments.
This is not a purely strategic architecture role.
You’ll be hands-on, working across NVIDIA GPU infrastructure, AI platforms, Kubernetes, confidential computing and zero-trust security — while also engaging directly with clients, supporting solution design and helping shape future deployments.
The role is approximately 60% technical delivery and 40% architecture, advisory and pre-sales.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take ownership across the physical and logical lifecycle of advanced AI infrastructure, including:
- Leading the physical provisioning of NVIDIA NVL72, DGX SuperPOD, BasePOD, HGX, MGX and Cisco AI Factory environments.
- Using NVIDIA Base Command Manager (BCM) for diskless booting, firmware management and OS hardening.
- Establishing GPU and infrastructure monitoring through NVIDIA Mission Control.
- Executing automated Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) workflows to transform bare-metal hardware into production-ready nodes.
- Designing and enforcing Fair Share, fractional GPU quotas using MIG, and pre-emption logic for multi-tenant environments.
- Implementing advanced schedulers including Slurm, NVIDIA Run, Kueue and Volcano.
- Deploying management planes such as Rafay or Armada for multi-cluster management and observability.
- Implementing high-fidelity GPU telemetry using DCGM, monitoring GPU health, thermal throttling and XID error rates.
- Conducting validation using NCCL-tests, HPL and HPCG to verify cluster performance.
- Implementing NVIDIA BlueField/DOCA security controls, including micro-segmentation and workload isolation.
- Designing and enforcing zero-trust tenant isolation across shared AI infrastructure.
- Implementing confidential computing and attestation to protect data in use.
- Deploying and operating HashiCorp Vault for tenant-scoped secrets management and workload identity.
- Securing Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift through RBAC, admission policies and platform hardening.
- Implementing identity federation, access boundaries and workload identity across platform services.
- Embedding security controls through automation, policy-as-code and GitOps.
- Strengthening AI workload protection, software supply chain security and runtime threat detection.
- Working directly with clients on technical requirements, architecture, solution design, Statements of Work and delivery estimates.
You’ll bring strong experience across:
- NVIDIA GPU platforms, including Hopper, Grace-Hopper, Blackwell and Grace-Blackwell.
- NVL72 rack-scale architecture and NVSwitch fabrics.
- CUDA, cuDNN and NCCL.
- Linux environments including Ubuntu and RHEL, particularly for HPC/AI workloads.
- Kernel tuning, driver management and system hardening.
- Python and Ansible for infrastructure configuration and automation.
- High-speed networking including InfiniBand NDR/HDR and RoCEv2, and their relationship with PCIe/NVLink topologies.
- Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift administration and security.
- NVIDIA BlueField DPUs and DOCA.
- Production HashiCorp Vault, including secrets engines, workload authentication, tenant separation and credential rotation.
- Zero-trust multi-tenancy, micro-segmentation and practical validation of tenant isolation.
- Confidential computing, trusted execution environments and attestation.
- RBAC, admission policies and platform hardening using technologies such as OPA and Kyverno.
- Identity federation, access controls and workload identity.
- Security automation using Python, Ansible, Helm and/or GitOps.
