This role plans and implements Physical Security Operation initiatives within the Zoom Suzhou site. This person is responsible for implementing appropriate physical security operations to mitigate risks to protect business operations.
This position reports to the Head of Global Security, with operational direction from the APAC Physical Security leader in Singapore.
Desired Skills and Experience
1.To conduct security risk assessment to Zoom operations in Suzhou site periodically and /or when significant change happens, including but not limited to new lease, physical assets move in, new business introduction.
2.To prepare and implement short and mid-term security operation plans to mitigate the risks that potentially threaten employees, damages assets and reputation.
3.To be responsible to establish, implement, and improve the security SOPs at Suzhou site to protect employees and assets. These SOPs include but are not limited to access management, Key control, door & window security, CCTV surveillance, visitor & contractor management, security guard management, incident reporting, workplace violence prevention.
4.To propose and support implementation of technical security solutions to mitigate the risks closely working with global/ local physical security technology experts
5.To be responsible for managing the TSS (Technical Security System) assets at Suzhou site. that includes Automated access control system (AACS), Intrusion detection system, CCTV camera system to meet the standards, together with key stakeholders such as global & local physical security team, IT and vendor.
6.To plan and implement periodical security training and education to employees and third-party contractors to continuously improve the security awareness and skills
7.To lead the initiatives on information security (Non- IT Security) to protect sensitive information. including but not limited to clear desk policy, loose talk.
8.To be the bridge between PSOC- Physical Security Operation Center and site operation team.
9.To establish the security metrics at Suzhou site and update the data periodically to reflect the performance and take actions to minimize the gap.
10.To conduct security inspection/ auditing scheduled and unscheduled, penetration testing to continuously mitigate the vulnerabilities of security operation
11.To lead the investigation on security incidents and /or breaches and propose actions to avoid recurrence.
12.To support emergency response and crisis management together with key stakeholders such as business and operation leaders, legal, HR, Admin.
13.To support deployment of business continuity program
14.To manage the security budget
15.To support the travel security, event security and VIP protection.
Desired Qualifications
1.Bachelor’s degree in related field
2.ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) and/or other equivalent cert.
Requirements
1.With 8+ years experiences in physical security area for a private sector multinational company
2. With8+ years experiences in management of physical security and/or systems engineering/technology projects, developing and executing project scope and budget, and managing 3rd party contracts and contractors
3.Extensive experiences to work with a diverse workforce and cross-functional teams
4.Experience and knowledge of physical security technology controls, including but not limited to Automated Access Control System (AACS), CCTV, Intrusion detection and alarm system.
5.Be familiar with vulnerability assessment and /or threat assessments
6.Be familiar with local fire codes
7.Experience on deploying physical security operation systems within a high-tech environment is preferred.
8.Experience interfacing and collaborating with key stakeholders including but not limited to Corporate Security team, IT team, Facility & admin team, vendors.
9.Fluency in Google Suite, Asana and Adobe
10.Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
11.Proficient in Mandarin and English both speaking and writing, other Asian language is valuable
12.Ability to legally travel throughout the region and specifically to countries with Zoom facilities or data centers.
